By downloading, installing, or using GuitarFriend (“the app”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. What GuitarFriend is
GuitarFriend is an Android app for tuning, chords, and a songbook.
You can save material on the phone and share it as
.gfriend files or a QR code.
2. Eligibility
The app is not directed at children under 13. If you are a minor under the law of your country, use the app with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Use
- The app is offered for personal tuning and music study.
- You are responsible for the content you save, import, or share (lyrics, chords, files).
- Do not abuse bugs, overload the device with malicious files, or use the app to infringe third-party rights (for example, others’ lyrics without permission).
4. Content and ownership
The app, its design, and its software belong to their owners. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, revocable license to use it. Songs and chords you create or import remain your responsibility.
5. Advertising
The app may show ads (Google AdMob). Ads are provided by third parties and may use identifiers according to your device settings and our privacy policy.
6. Availability
The tuner depends on the microphone and hardware. Sharing files depends on other apps on the phone. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change or withdraw features with reasonable notice when possible.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. Approximate tuning does not replace a professional measuring instrument.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of local data, interruptions, or harm from using or being unable to use the app, including the result of an Android backup or files shared with third parties.
9. Privacy
Data processing is described in the privacy policy and the Play summary in data safety.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will reflect the change. Continued use of the app after material changes means you have been informed at this URL.
11. Governing law
These terms are interpreted under the laws of Chile, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
